sludge is not greeny brown, it's dark brown.
I got these yesterday. size 7/40 as usual was just right for me. they are very comfortable and feel like flats. I was really concerned about other reviews which said the back part slips down, but so far no problems. I will update if this happens. I ordered brown (sludge) thinking I would get a greeny brown from the photos, however they are dark brown and look exacly like the espresso ones to me. amazon need to sort out the photos. however, I love them anyway and will keep them.
