Splits in Merrell boots
Good fit, comfortable and waterproof, I ordered these boots in August 2015 and started using them in November. Have used them regularly since for walking across diverse terrain - fields, footpaths, bridle tracks, lanes and through woodland. I have noticed my feet are getting wet the last couple of weeks and on inspection the outer bottom edges where the boots bend when I take a step have split and holes have developed in the material. Very disappointed as I have had several pairs of Merrell boots over the years and apart from earlier ones not being as waterproof as suggested, have always found them resilient and comfortable for long walks. There is no link to the Merrell website from Amazon which they might resolve as they advertise a large selection of Merrell products. I expect more from Merrell and Amazon!
