Description : In an update to the Ultima 4, the 5th edition of the line is lighter than its predecessor and now includes SR Touch, a new advanced cushioning material that is lighter, absorbs shock and with its fast rebound properties, and keeps the transition smooth and fast. Intercool solves the problem of heat and humidity build-up in a running shoe, by incorporating a full-length ventilation system in the sole of the shoe that removes heat and humidity from the foot through a system of ventilation channels. Featuring an abundance of Mizuno's technology, including the revolutionary Wave System and SmoothRide Engineering, the Women's Ultima now also offers a full-length AP+ midsole unit which improves cushioning and comfort, whilst being more lightweight than its predecessor. VS-1 rear-foot cushioning helps to also absorb shock and helps minimise the risk of shock related injuries to the foot.
