Serious off road dog walkers take note and save money and save wet feet
I walk 3 hours a day off road in all seasons with my dog. I've tried several well known makes of leather and fabric walking boots with or without so called waterproof and breathable linings. All comfortable - none waterproof in wet grass. These muck boots are genuinely waterproof (hooray!) as you might expect with wellies and they are at least as comfortable as the much more expensive but not waterproof leather boots that they now replace. They are, of course, not breathable through the sides but with an air gap at the top and good walking socks they breathe quite well. The bottom line is that I arrive home with dry toes now. They are still new but they have clocked up about 25 hours off-road in wet and dry conditions so far and not even the hint of a blister or a damp foot. For the winter I have a pair of their big brother full length muck boots (Muckmaster) that were just as good as these last winter. And one more big advantage over lace-up leather boots if you wear them...
