This is the second year running my daughter has asked for vans for her school shoes.
Previously we've only ever bought clarks shoes buying into the whole ridiculous feeling of you're a bad parent if you don't. After my daughter begged me for her first pair, I wish I had tried these sooner!
They look smart with socks or black tights. The laces stay tied for the whole day once done up. They do not show mess up very much, but if they do it's great that you can just chuck them in the washing machine.
My daughter says they are super comfy, and she's not complained of blistering or rubbing once. Some vans can come up a bit small but this particular pair seemed to come up just right. There are a few styles of black vans with very little difference between them when you look at photos of them on Amazon. Having tried every pair I find these vans are the most flattering for females. Great shoes!
