Continuing on the success of its predecessor, the GEL-3020, this new GEL-3030 version now employs the Forefoot Guidance Line that encourages a better running style and reduces energy wastage. 3mm of height has been added to the heel of the female's version to relieve Achilles tension and a pocket of air in the sole allows for the normal periodic changes in the arch of the foot. Asymmetric lacing gives greater comfort and better fit, the sockliner has been upgraded to the X40 ComforDry version for a healthier shoe environment and the upper has been made with a high tech eco-friendly material.
