Ok but not much grip
I bought these to replace another pair of Columbia walking shoes that I had had for many years and which were of a supreme quality. Have to say that these were a bit of a disappointment. The materials that they are made of and stitching and general build is not as good as my old pair. Also, they have very little grip so in wet weather you have to be really careful - I have nearly fallen over when walking on a smooth greasy downward surface. I can only run in them provided the roads are fairly dry and flat so limited in terms of running. They are ok for general walking but I would not buy them again and would not recommend them if you are planning on climbing wet surfaces. They are not altogether waterproof either.
