I have been looking for boots to replace a much loved pair by Ecco. These boots are the most similar in years of searching, but have a lot of expectation to live up to from me, so my review is tainted by that. I say they are moderately large only because I usually take 7 (41) but these are 6.5 (40) and fit well, so they are comfortable and look good. The tongue is quite bulky and as elegant on the ankle as my loved pair and also not able to put them on without undoing the laces which is a negative. Also the eyelets stop a bit short for me and not enough whip round hooks either, I feel there should be double the amount and should be able to leave them done up - the whole point of the zip. They are warm and good snow boots though with a nice thick sole with good grip and I like the height. They are suede and nylon, leather would be better. Overall a good boot.
