I've purchased a few pairs of fitflops and they have fitted perfectly from the word go. I checked out the reviews for these shoes and they in general suggested that your normal shoe size would be fine. I ordered the 5.5 (my normal size) in confidence, but unfortunately they were much too small and had to be returned. I also found the leather to be very stiff and therefore would not have given with use.
